Here is another romantic "sensational" novel by Mabel Collins, published the same year as Morial the Mahatma. Whereas the other work focuses on occultism, this one centers on mesmerism, using it to create Gothic tension through jealousy, desperation, misunderstanding, and psychological horror. The style makes a number of sympathetic observations of the strengths and weakness of the various characters, and is not without its occasional quip.

So here it is: the master HTML version, the home-brew Kindle version, and the actual Amazon publication.
