Mesa Italiana

This one of my two favorite places to eat in Holbrook*, and my favorite Italian restaurant in Arizona so far [better than anything in Flagstaff]. The sausage and peppers is excellent, but hands-down my favorite is the seafood pescatore special (mussels, scallops, calamari, and shrimp) with white or spicy red sauce, served over pasta: with the spicy red sauce, it rivals the best cioppino I've ever had.

*The other place isn't really a restaurant, but the seasonal Chuckwagon Dinner at the KOA campground, featuring one of the best steaks I've ever had.
