Fratelli Pizza

Good pizza and calzones, but when I do come it's almost always to grab a quick pesto slice. It's cheap, tastes great, and is very generously sized.

The location itself has an interesting history. It's a beautiful old stone building, and years ago it was occupied by a luggage maker called Bushwalker; they're still around somewhere. For a while it was Cabo Cantina, which had the best Baja style food in town; I was really sorry to see it go. Then it was an unmemorable late night fast food stand called Munchies. Then it was My Thai Kitchen, which was decent but not my favorite. Finally Fratelli moved in and expanded to take the space occupied by The Palace Haircutters at the time. The Palace moved over to West St, next to Las Gorditas; I still get my hair cut there.
