Ewa's Thai Cuisine

Flagstaff has a surprising number of Thai restaurants: 5 just in the downtown area. I remember when there were none at all in Flagstaff. The very first one was Dara Thai, which I didn't think was all that great: it started out at the Western Hills motel, where a number of restaurants have come and gone (currently it's Agave Mexican Restaurant). Then it moved downtown where Main Street Grill used to be.

Ewa's probably isn't the best, but it's not bad, and it's unique in that it features a lunch buffet. I've also had the green curry, which was good, but their "4 star" level is NOT spicy. If I eat there again, I'll try the "5 star" level, which is what I have at Little Thai Kitchen.

The location, sharing the same building with Historic Brewing Company's Barrel + Bottle House, used to be Shakey Drake's and Topless Dance Club, which was always being closed down by the police.
