Cliff Dwellers Lodge

If any restaurant could compete with Northern Pines as my favorite three square meals, it would be this place. Located only 90 minutes from Flagstaff in the heart of Vermillion Cliffs country, it’s a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Heck, once I stayed there overnight and did all three. For breakfast, try the stuffed biscuits & gravy.

The place also has an interesting history. Art Greene, an owner in the 1940s, ran boat trips to Rainbow Bridge before Glen Canyon dam went in, and later established Wahweap Marina. Check out the lodge’s website, as well as this link, for more info.
